Apricot kernel toffee is made with 100% natural ingredients. Each ounce of toffee contains approximately 8 kernels. Each box contains one half pound of toffee.
Hand-broken toffee pieces are surrounded by gold foil and sealed inside an embossed white gift box measuring 7" by 4.5". Finished with a satin box band and metallic gold stretch loop.
• Not too thick! The crunchy, crumbly texture is everything. • No "gritty" texture. The sugar should never be crystallized. • Chocolate should be flavorful, and the coating thickness is important. • Chocolate temperature must be managed to control "bloom". • Nut piece size & quantity are important. Large nuts overpower the taste and change the texture. • Pre-toasting nuts can add a burned flavor. • A hint of salt mutes the sweetness just a little.
